Raipur: Hemant Soren, the newly elected CM of Jharkhand, has taken the oath of office and secrecy on Sunday. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel also attended Soren's swearing-in ceremony. During this, Baghel was sitting between CM Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan and Mamta Banerjee, CM of West Bengal.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel discussed with Mamata the other political situation including NRC. Before leaving Ranchi on Sunday, CM Baghel attacked the central government fiercely. In the discussion with the press persons at Swami Vivekananda Airport, he said that the BJP which once dominated the map of the country has now broken into pieces. People are denying them in many states. Soren becomes CM for the second time in Jharkhand.

Baghel said that the people of Jharkhand have rejected the BJP government. Reacting to the National Tribal Dance Festival, Baghel said that this is a new experience. Everybody is taking part in it. Artists from abroad have come, litterateurs, writers, and senior people have also come here. It is very rare that all the tribals appear together on the same stage. It has been a successful program.
