Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced late Monday that talks with Russia would resume on Tuesday.

As part of a negotiation effort to end the war with Russia "with a fair peace," Zelensky said he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. In his nightly video address, Zelenskiy added, "Our delegation also worked on this in negotiations with the Russian party." "As I was told, it was quite good. But let's wait and see. They'll keep going tomorrow."

After "heated" meetings on Monday, the US warned China against assisting Moscow in its invasion of Ukraine, while an anti-war demonstrator disrupted Russian official TV news in an unprecedented act of defiance.

Since commencing its assault on February 24, the most significant offensive on a European state since World War II, Moscow has failed to conquer any of Ukraine's ten largest cities.

According to US sources, Washington calls its efforts a "special military operation" to "denazify" the country and has requested Beijing for military and economic assistance.
