WASHINGTON: United State President Joe Biden getting a massive number of requests to the Unites State dinner he is hosting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi shows the excitement level, the White House has said.

White House Press Secretary Karine jean-Pierre reportedly sids at her daily news conference on Tuesday as follows: “I think that is a good thing. That shows the excitement of the Prime Minister being in US on June 22.” 
The actual state visit, which will take place on June 22, as we previously announced, will be welcomed by the president and first lady, she added.

The press secretary stated, "This will be an opportunity to reaffirm the deep and close partnership between the United States and India, as well as the warm ties of family and friendship that clearly link Americans and Indians together."
"The president values that highly. The official continued, "The visit will also reaffirm our two nations' common commitment to an Indo-Pacific that is free, open, prosperous, and secure as well as our shared resolve to assess our strategic technology relationship, notably in defence, clean energy, and space.

White House Press Secretary was responding to a question on President Biden receiving a large number of requests from Indian-Americans across his governemnt, legilsators and corporate sector leaders seeking an invitation to the much soughtafter state dinner he and First Lady Jill Biden are hosting for Narnedra Modi next month.
