Araria: A major accident took place in Araria in Bihar on Monday night. There was a collision between a truck and a bus. In this accident, one person lost his life, while more than three dozen people were also injured. It is being said that the condition of more than 12 injured persons in the accident is serious.
According to the information received, the accident took place near Anant Chowk on the Araria-Supaul border. The bus, which was going from Sitamarhi to Siliguri, collided head-on with a truck. There was a scream after the accident. Subsequently, the police reached the spot and pulled out the injured persons and admitted them to the hospital. Police said that repair work was going on on one lane of the four-lane highway. In such a situation, the vehicles coming and going from the same lane were coming out, due to this, this accident took place. The collision was so dangerous that the truck fell into the pit 20 feet down.
More than 36 people were injured in the accident. They were being admitted to a nearby hospital. One after the other, the arrival of one patient after another reduced the space in the hospital. Thereafter, the doctors started the treatment under the open hospital in the hospital premises. Doctors say that those injured persons whose condition is critical have been referred. Police said more than 100 people were sitting on the bus at the time of the accident.
