Shajapur: A painful incident is coming to the fore from Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh. A dangerous collision between a passenger bus and a trolley took place between Maksi and Kayatha at around 4 am today. In this road accident, 4 people died and 15 people were injured. The dead bodies have been sent to the district hospital Shajapur for postmortem. At the same time, all the injured persons have been referred to Ujjain for treatment.
It is being said that the passenger bus going towards Ahmedabad collided with the trolley. Three passengers sleeping in the sleeper coach bus died on the spot, including two women and one man. As soon as the news of the accident was received, the Maksi police station reached the spot and the injured persons were sent to Ujjain for treatment. The matter is being investigated by the police. However, the police have not yet given information about the cause of the accident.
In another incident in Anuppur district, three members of a family, including two girls, died due to drowning in a pond. Police said the incident took place when the family members were having a picnic at Sitamarhi near Kotma town. The deceased have been identified as Shailendra Singh (26), Avni Singh (11) and Khushi Singh (12), Bhalumada police station in-charge Ajit Pawar said. He said that further action is being taken in the matter.
