Malayalam's well-known Mohanlal starer 'Big Brother' has finally released in theaters today and is receiving mixed responses from the audience. This is the third collaboration between its filmmakers Siddiqui and Mohanlal. The pair gave the hit film 'Vietnam Colony' before the audience was waiting for another blockbuster. Directed by Siddiqui, the film M-Town features Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan's first film.

The film has also been shot on a hefty budget, with a stunning role of Waheed Siddiqui, Devan, Anoop Menon, Janardhan, Tani Tom, Mirna, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and Honey Rose. However, the Twitter response suggests that Big Brother has failed to make it 'big' in theaters. Twitter has characterized the film as a 'flop'. Well, with most people calling the collaboration 'disastrous', many others agreed that the film was mediocre.

Many fans of the actor (Mohanlal) failed as an omen and said that the actor's upcoming film 'Marakar Arabikadalinete Singham' could be a huge hit. Directed by Siddiqui, 'Big Brother' is directed by S Talkies, Shaman International is jointly supported by Vaishaka Scienma and Carnival Movie Network. Jeetu Damodar has cranked the camera, KR Gaurishankar can do the editing and Deepak Dev has composed the music for the film.
