Dehradun: After the action of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on 3 officers of the Indian Forest Service, there is panic in the entire bureaucracy. The Chief Minister has indicated strict action on corruption under zero tolerance. Action will be taken in all the cases related to corruption, they will be implemented expeditiously. In the case of all irregularities including illegal felling and construction in Corbett Tiger Reserve (KTR), the Dhami government took major action and suspended two IFS officers, while one IFS officer was attached to Dehradun headquarters. After this action, there has been a ruckus not only in the forest department but also in other departments.
According to sources in the Chief Minister's Office, the CM has also summoned the files of the ongoing investigation in the case of corruption and scams. In the cases in which action is proposed, the CM will take swift action. Not only the Forest Department, but in the coming days, strict action of the government can be seen on corrupt officials in other departments including LNV, Irrigation Energy.
CM Dhami has given a clear indication to the government machinery that the government will not take any leniency on the issue of zero tolerance. Not only this, in the coming days, there can be a spurt in the cases of Vigilance. With time-bound planning of ongoing investigations in vigilance cases, immediate action can be taken in cases of completed investigations.
