According to the information, scientists have made a comparison between volunteers who were vaccinated against BCG and those who were not vaccinated. On this, scientists found that amid the coronavirus epidemic, people who were vaccinated with BCG did not fall ill again or became seriously ill.
The study published in the Journal of Cell Reports Medicine evaluated an organization of healthy volunteers who were given BCG vaccine in the five years preceding the current Covid epidemic. Their immune system was compared to healthy volunteers who were not vaccinated.
