Mumbai: A big fraud has come to the fore regarding Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test, MHTET. The Pune Police, which is probing the rigging of the results of MHTET 2020, said that 293 candidates were given passing certificates in the examination, who failed. So far, 13 persons have been taken into custody by the Pune Police in this case, including an IAS officer.

According to the information received from the same police, 'So far 293 such candidates have been found in the investigation, who were given a passing certificate, but they did not pass the examination.' That the marks of about 7800 candidates were manipulated in exchange for money.

In the same incident, the Pune Police had also arrested IAS officer Sushil Khodvekar last week. At present, the matter is being investigated by the police. There may be more revelations in this. The matter is being continuously investigated by the police and strict action is being taken against the culprits.
