At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Nitin Patel announced in the House on Friday under Rule 44 of the Legislative Assembly that it has been decided to increase the salary of women employees working in the state Anganwadi, Mini Anganwadi.

More than 50 thousand women employees working in Anganwadi will now get a monthly salary of Rs 7800, earlier they used to get Rs 7200. The government has increased by 600 rupees per month. Apart from this, the salary of the employees working in Mini Anganwadi has been increased by Rs 300, now they will get Rs 4400 monthly. The government has announced that it will benefit more than 53 thousand Anganwadi employees of the state. The government has announced to implement the salary hike from March 2019, the government will pay arrears of one year in three installments. On the coffers of the government, this increment will incur an additional burden of Rs 112 crores.
