The number of patients in the district hospital as well as in the Madhavashram in Koteshwar is increasing. Every patient is reaching the hospital with itching in the eyes and difficulty breathing. In such a situation, they are being advised by the doctors to get treatment on time. There is a huge fire in the forests of Rudraprayag these days. Smoke is rising from the forests from morning till evening which has now made it difficult for the villagers to live. The smoke rising from the forest has completely engulfed the sky. The fire broke out in the forests of Dhanpur, Bhardar, Lasya and other areas of the Rudraprayag district. On the one hand, while the forest fire has burnt the forest wealth worth lakhs and crores of rupees to ashes, the wild animals are also being killed unnecessarily and now people are also getting sick. Three hours after the fire incident in Jawadi village, the forest department team arrived while their office is in the same area. The distance from Jawadi village to the forest department office is only one and a half kilometres. Due to the forest fire, not only the people of the village but also the people living in the urban areas are suffering. Dr Sanjay Tiwari, the senior physician at the district hospital, said people are facing a lot of problems due to the forest fire. In the hospital, people are coming up with problems like itching, irritation and shortness of breath in the eyes. This smoke is also proving to be very dangerous for heart patients.
