Indore: Recently a big decision has been taken by the Indore Collector on the festival of Holi. Actually, it has been decided to keep the wine shops closed on the day of Holi. It is being said that this step has been taken in view of minor disputes arising out of drunkenness.
An order has also been issued in this regard. In this order, it has been told by the Collector that under the powers obtained under section 24(1) of the Collector and District Magistrate District Indore Pradesh Act 1915, letter number contract of Madhya Pradesh Valier, letter number contract/2021-22/36/150 dated 15.05.2021 On the occasion of Holi (Ghulendi) in administrative and public interest under Tika number 42(1) of the date 18.03.2022 till 03:00 PM on Friday and on the occasion of Panchami on 22.03.22 (Lwar) till 03:00 PM. A dry day is declared.
On the other hand, on the occasion of Rangpanchami in Indore city, the route of Gair to be taken out by different organizations will have to be changed this time. This will be because due to the removal of encroachments from the designated route of Gair in the Rajwada area, debris is lying. Because of this the road is closed. In this connection, District Magistrate Manish Singh said that the route of Gair would have to be changed, but it would be discussed with the organizers of Gair. Thereafter, the changed path will be clarified.
