New Delhi: By 2024, India will be at par with the US. This is not a dream but a claim made by Maharashtra's veteran BJP leader and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. But how will it all be? The Plan of Action has also been placed before the Rajya Sabha by the Union Minister on Wednesday (March 16).
In fact, there are always discussions about India's roads, potholes on the roads, and deaths in those accidents. Measures and schemes have also been brought in on these issues. But still, no permanent solution has been found so far. In such a situation, Nitin Gadkari has made a big statement in the Upper House. Replying to a discussion during the budget session of Parliament, the Union Minister shared a Plan of Action for the next two years. Under this plan of action for 2024, Nitin Gadkari made important announcements regarding the infrastructure and roads in India.
Replying to a question by Congress MP L Hanumanthaiah in the Upper House, Gadkari said, "The central government has made such preparations that the infrastructure related facilities in India will be able to match the US by 2024." Gadkari also stressed the need to raise awareness among the people regarding road safety.
