Annual cashback of Rs 7500 : According to DCB Bank, cashback of up to Rs 7,500 is provided in a year on debit transactions done through UPI from Happy Savings Account. For this, a minimum UPI transaction of Rs 500 will have to be done. This cashback is going to be given by the bank only on debit transactions.

Cashback is to be given on the basis of transactions done in the quarter, and will be credited to the account after the end of a quarter. Happy Savings Account holders can get a maximum cashback of Rs 625 in a month and a maximum of Rs 7,500 in a year.

Increasing UPI transactions: UPI transactions are creating new records every month in the country. People are finding it more correct and easier to transact through online UPI instead of cash transactions. NPCI says that in the month of December, transactions through UPI have reached close to Rs 17.4 trillion. In such a situation, it is expected that by the financial year 2027, the number of UPI transactions may cross the figure of 100 crore per day. It is estimated that in 5 years, 90 percent of transactions at shops will be through UPI.
