New Delhi: BJP Leader and Big Boss Fame contestant Sonali Phogat (43) declared death at the St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa on Tuesday morning. Her family questioned initial reports that she had died of a cardiac arrest and looks like their allegations are true as  Sonali Phogat’s body had "multiple blunt force injuries", an autopsy revealed on Thursday and two people were arrested in the case. As per the autopsy, The cause of death has not yet been ascertained pending chemical analysis. "Histopathology and serological reports of the tissues preserved”  

As per information, Sonali Phogat's personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan and his friend Sukhwinder Wasi, who were with her when she arrived in Goa on Monday, have been charged and arrested. Both were arrested from Goa late last evening.

According to an official source, "There are multiple blunt force injuries over the body. In view of the above, the manner of death is for the investigating officer to ascertain. Women police officers who conducted a physical examination of Sonali Phogat's body have not found any sharp-edged injuries on the body."

Sonali Phogat, the Haryana BJP leader and actor, her family members on Thursday raised suspicion that she was raped before she was murdered. His brother  Rinku said adding that her shooting in Goa was on August 24 but the hotel rooms were booked for August 21-22. On August 22, she was declared brought dead to the St Anthony Hospital at Anjuna in North Goa, where she was brought after she felt uneasy after having food. Her Brother also said Sonali had hinted at something fishy in her phone calls to the family members the day before she died.
