Lucknow: Police raided a sex racket being run in a house in Adarsh Nagar and Jasrup Nagar on Dastoi Road in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. From where the police have busted the prostitution and arrested 15 accused involved in this racket. These include women from Nepal and Bihar. Police have recovered 18 mobile phones, Rs 8,340 in cash and incriminating material from the spot.
According to the report, Hapur SP Abhishek Verma has informed that the Hapur Kotwali police station of Hapur district received information that a sex racket was going on in the house of a woman named Chanchal in Jasrup Nagar on Dastoi Road of Hapur. On the basis of the information, the police laid a trap and raided the spot. The police have also seized objectionable items from the spot. Also, 15 accused, including 12 women, were arrested and sent to jail. The accused also include women from Nepal, Meerut and Bihar. The house was a breeding ground. During this time, sealed and used pornographic goods have been seized.
Hapur SP Abhishek Verma said that in the joint operation of Police Station Kotwali Nagar and our AHTU, a racket has been busted, which was running in Adarsh Nagar and Jasrup Nagar of Police Station Kotwali. In this, 12 women and three men have been arrested. During interrogation, it was revealed that they used to keep some girls and used to organize programs for women from outside such as Nepal, Meerut, and nearby districts. They used to get them to do sex in their own way in a wrong way, in this also some people have been arrested in the past who have been involved in such crimes in the past.
