In an interview, Bhuban has said, "I am living a normal life. I'm not a celebrity. If needed, I will start selling peanuts again. Because of seeing more money and popularity, my mind was gone again, I had bought a car, but now I understand how to spend my life. According to the news, under the influence of the sudden popularity, Bhuban had said a few days ago that he has become a celebrity, so he will not sell almonds now because if they do so, they are making fun of them. People made fun of him for his statement. He was also compared to Ranu Mandal.

According to media reports, Bhuban has now been invited to make various shows a part of his own. They have started getting offers  from many companies and TV shows. Bhuban will also be seen trying to get washed away in this celebrity lifestyle. Bhuban has composed two more songs after 'Kachcha Badam'. Bhuban Badyakar, a groundnut seller from West Bengal, had sung the song 'Kacha Badam' to attract customers. They used to earn up to Rs 200-250 by selling 3-4 kg of peanuts daily to feed the family. But now their days are back.
