There are reports that Ashutosh Kaushik and Arpita's marriage was fixed before the lockdown and on the same day both decided to get married in the presence of family members. Both have handheld each other with great simplicity and have also donated the money deposited for their marriage to the PM Cares Fund. Talking about their marriage, Ashutosh told a portal, 'We have performed every ritual along with the rounds at home. From my side only two people from my mother and sister and Arpita attended this wedding.'

He added, 'It will be very memorable for me and now I feel that everyone should get married like this where there is neither noise nor show off…. I will not give any information about the amount but we collected all the money for our marriage ... We have taken a mutual decision and donated it to the PM Relief Fund. At the end of the show, Ashutosh was seen in district Ghaziabad and Kismat Paisa in Delhi. He did not get much popularity from these films and gradually he was immersed in the sea of oblivion.
