Bigg Boss Telugu 5: As per the captaincy task, the contestants had to carry their respective sacks of thermocol balls and walk inside the ring. He had to puncture other competitors' sacks. Jaswant was the director of this work. Shanmukh and Sriram Chandra crashed out in the first round. Bigg Boss called Jaswant to the confession room and clarified about the task. In the first round, there were fewer balls in Ani's sack. She was reluctant to participate in the game. Ravi and Vishwas drag Ani back into the task. Ravi convinces Jesse to resume the game.
During the task, Sriram Chandra and Sunny became physical while trying to empty each other's sack. Sunny is out of the race. In the next round, Jaswant knocked out Sriram Chandra and Manas, claiming that they had stopped walking inside the ring. Sunny objected to this. Manas continued to play while Sriram Chandra walked out. Later, Manas also went out but talked to Jaswant about the same. Sunny kept on arguing that Jaswant gave an unfair decision.
In the next round, Ani complains that Jaswant and Siri indulge in factionalism. Ravi, Manas and Sunny object to Shanmukh's attempt to tear Ani's sack with a knife. During the task, Ani gave up. Ani said that as long as there is factionalism in the house, she can never become the captain. Ravi loses his cool on Ani arguing that the game is like that and he should keep playing. He also argued with Sunny. Shanmukh won the last round and made the new captain of the house. He tries to compromise with Ani, Sunny and others.
