Bihar: 5 killed,9 injured in sugar mill boiler blast CM announced grant of Rs 4 lakh

Five people were killed and nine others were injured when a boiler broke out at a sugar mill of Gopalganj district’s Sasamusa in Bihar this morning. Now Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep condolences to the kins of all the dead. CM has announced a grant of Rs 4-4 lakh to the deceased.

Nitish Kumar issued an order directing the disaster management to grant grants of rupees 4-4 lakh to the families of the victims of the accident.

The Chief Minister also directed the Health Department to give better treatment and proper assurance to the injured people. The Chief Minister prayed God for the quick recovery of the injured.At the same time, the team of SDRF has reached the spot. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given the direction of Chief Secretary of sugarcane industry Mr. S. Siddharth and Principal Secretary to the Labor Resources Department Mr. Deepak Kumar Singh to reach to the spot and look at the incident.

The remaining six injured have been taken to Gorakhpur in the neighboring Uttar Pradesh for treatment.

Police said three of those killed had been recognized as Arjun Kumar Kushwaha, Kripa Yadav and Mohammad Shahsuddin, said police.

 Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered an investigation into the incident and declared compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the family members of victims. The investigation will be carried out by principal secretaries of sugarcane industries and labor resource departments, S Sidharth and Dipak Kumar Singh, correspondingly.
