Begusarai: The government had made many claims regarding the availability of water and pit free roads, but for rural areas, it is still a dream. Public representatives and officials' negligence has forced people to live a hellish life. People agitated by the government's false claims and officials' negligence are collecting donations and arranging for their water. The latest case has come from the Shahpur Panchayat of Choudhary Block.

The local people have collected donations and prepared a bamboo bridge (Chachari bridge) about 150 feet long. When the crater between Bhoja ward number seven and eight of Shahpur Panchayat was filled then the rainwater gathered around the surrounding houses. For two months, people urged the chief and BDO to solve the problem. But everyone expressed an inability to overcome this problem.

After this, people here collected Rs 15,000 from donations with mutual support. After this, the construction of Chachari bridge started last week by purchasing bamboo, thorn and wire. All the people of the locality supported in it, leaving all work and on Monday evening a bridge of about 150 feet long was ready. On Tuesday morning, when the people of the neighbourhood started using it, the faces of the villagers blossomed. For the locals, this task was nothing less than breaking a mountain.
