After Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta, Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma was also found to be Corona infected. Chief Minister Khattar is admitted in Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon and his condition is stable.

The Assembly Speaker has made it mandatory for all the MLAs, Assembly staff and officers to get the corona virus tested before the session starting on 26 August. The officials said that BJP MLAs - Laxman Napa, Ram Kumar Kashyap and Aseem Goyal - have also been found positive like the six employees of the assembly.

Moolchand Sharma, BJP MLA from Ballabhgarh in Faridabad city, told that he does not have signs of infection and has requested all the people who come to his contact to get their investigation done. Sharma said, 'Till Tuesday morning, I have no symptoms. I do not have fever, my throat is also fine, I do not have colds nor any symptoms like flu. For the time being, I have isolated myself at home. The state transport minister had a surprise inspection of the bus stand in his constituency on Monday. CM Manohar Lal Khattar was also found to be Corona positive. Six days ago he attended a meeting with Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who was later found to be corona infected. After the transition is confirmed in the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa is going to handle the proceedings of the House.
