Bettiah: In Dhobha village under Shikarpur police station of Narkatiaganj in Bettiah district of Bihar, in-laws strangled the woman to death. The deceased woman Rita Devi was married 12 years ago in Narkatiaganj. Even after 12 years of marriage, the woman could not give birth to any child. For this reason in-laws always tortured the deceased woman. Ultimately, the in-laws killed the woman by not being able to bear a child while wiring humanity.

Ballister, the deceased's brother, said that he had gone to visit his sister-in-law on Thursday evening, but as soon as he returned home, he came to know that the sister had died. After this he immediately returned with his family members to his sister-in-law. Here he saw that his sister's body was hanging from a rope. Also the in-laws were not present at home.

The relatives of the deceased say that they reported the matter to the Shikarpur police. After this, the police reached the spot. The police have taken the dead body of the deceased to Bettiah postmortem and registered an FIR by nominating 6 people. At present, the police is investigating the entire episode.
