According to the information received, there was a love affair between the 60-year-old man and the 48-year-old woman living in Bettiah. However, the distance between the two came in love with the children and during this time the dispute escalated so much that the man showed his true form and threw acid on his girlfriend. The incident is being reported from Bargazwa village under the Narkatiaganj Shikarpur police station area.

In this case, the victim has alleged that during the night when she was sleeping at her house. During that time, a man named Kasim Mian quietly came to his house and threw acid and fled. Due to all this, she was badly burnt and in the morning the family admitted her to the hospital. Seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred the woman to the district hospital. Although in this case, the woman flatly denied her love affair in front of the camera, but there is a discussion in the village about the relationship between the two.

In this case, the accused man says, "His wife died 12 years ago. After this, his love affair with the woman began. The two had a good relationship for many years, but due to the children, the matter worsened. Then we both separated. Living in the same village leads to encounters. But we change our course and don't even talk.''

Apart from this, the accused man told the police that both his children are married. But he has not thrown acid on his girlfriend. He is being forcibly implicated in this case. Narkatiaganj Shikarpur in-charge SHO Shakeel Ahmed said, "After registering an FIR on the woman's application, the accused elderly man has been arrested. The woman is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bettiah and the matter is being investigated.''
