Patna: BJP leader's husband was shot and killed on Monday (November 9, 2020) before counting began in Ara district of Bihar. According to the information received, the armed miscreants, who rode the bike on Monday evening, shot dead the civil court lawyer and the husband of the BJP Mahila Morcha Nagar chairperson.

He was seriously injured in the incident. He was then taken to a private hospital in the face-to-face and then referred to Patna, but he succumbed to his injuries because of the delicate condition. The deceased have been identified as Pritam Narayan Singh. His wife Nilu Singh is the active leader of the BJP party. Even in this assembly elections, he appeared active everywhere for his party's campaign.

After the incident, several top officials reached the spot and inspected the incident. The son of the deceased informed that when his father was returning home from the civil court in the evening, two bike-riding armed criminals stopped him near the temple in the Mohle and shot him by asking him for a recent move. The police is currently investigating the matter.
