Patna: On Saturday (April 22, 2023) on the day of Eid, the news of a blast came to light in Nalanda, Bihar. Police reached the spot and started investigation. Then the police had informed that two people were injured in the incident. Now one of those injured, Mohammad Adil, has been taken into custody by the Bihar Police. Adil, also known as Khanna by the locals, is currently undergoing treatment in police custody. The second person who was injured in the blast has been named as Mohammad Jaan. On the other hand, the police also accepted the blast and described it as a low-intensity blast.

The blast took place in Paharpura area of ​​Bihar Sharif. Eyewitnesses had heard a loud bang and seen smoke rising after the incident. The police had initially seen the white smoke on the basis of CCTV footage, but had ruled out prima facie blast. During this, splatters of blood were found lying on the spot and two people were said to be injured. Although both the injured were not identified then and the police started searching for them. According to media reports, now the names of Mohammad Adil and Mohammad Jaan have come out as both the injured.

According to reports, the detained Mohammad Adil is a painter by profession. It is being told that along with Mohammad Adil and Mohammad John, 2 other people were also injured. Mohammad Adil has accused John of the blast. He says that when he returned from outside, Mohammad John set off an explosion, due to which he fell down. According to Mohammad Khanna alias Adil, John used firecrackers for the blast.
