Patna: A tribute meeting was held in the memory of former Finance Minister and veteran BJP leader Arun Jaitley in the SK Memorial Hall of Patna, the capital of Bihar. On this occasion, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar remembered him and said that I have a deep connection with Arun Jaitley. While holding the post of minister in Vajpayeeji's government, he used to discuss every single thing.

Nitish Kumar mentioned the role of Arun Jaitley in the NDA's victory in the 2005 two-term assembly elections in Bihar. Nitish Kumar said that I will never forget the role of Jaitleyji in my life in Bihar, the opportunity we have got to serve the people. Whatever the adverse situation, he used to bring the way out in the situation. The same quality was also seen in Madhudandavate.

Referring to the 2005 election, Nitish Kumar said that Arun Jaitley was operated on after the illness, after which he started working again. He never worried about himself. Even though he was not from Bihar, he had a deep attachment to Bihar. Nitish Kumar said that his memory was unique. We were often worried about his health, but he never worried about it. He got liberation. During this, CM Nitish also announced to install his statue in Bihar and celebrate his birth anniversary with state honors every year.
