In his statement, this claim has been made by senior advocate and senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy. He claimed this in a tweet on Saturday afternoon. In this tweet, Subramanian Swamy has written thatSwamy has said that he now has a solid hint that if India agrees to defend Afghanistan against terrorists like Taliban and allow the US to withdraw its troops, then Washington will side with New Delhi in taking back Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
This statement of Subramanian Swamy has come at a time when the Central Government has abolished the status of a special state by abolishing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, Jammu and Kashmir has been divided into two parts (Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh) and the two new states have been made union territories.
