Amidst the lockdown and the corona crisis, with many workers returning to Bihar being found infected with the corona virus, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked the newly arrived people to stay away from workers already living in the quarantine center to prevent infection. The same state government has made it mandatory for the migrant workers coming back to stay in the 14-day quarantine center. Only after this, they are being given permission to go home and Rs 1,000 as travel expenses. More than 15 lakh workers have returned since the beginning of the month after the center agreed to run labor trains to bring workers. . According to the state health department, more than 2,000 workers who had returned since May 3 have been found infected.

For your information, let us tell you that while chairing a high level meeting on the status of the epidemic, Kumar directed the officials to ensure that the newly arrived workers are kept separate from the workers already living in Quarantine. In Bihar, people of Bihar are still trapped, about which CM Nitish Kumar has said that the officers have been ordered to contact other states and take necessary action in this regard. On Friday, the Chief Minister held a video conference with Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional, Commissioner, IG, DIG, DM and ACEP for prevention of Kovid-19 in the state.

Apart from this, the CM said that more and more people will be investigated from outside. He said that regular screening and screening of people living in quarantine center and home quarantine will be done. At the same time, the Chief Minister said that with the facilities in all districts, the number of isolation beds will be increased. Government buildings in which no work is being done, will be converted into an isolation center. Apart from this, isolation centers can be built in private commercial buildings and hotels as per the requirement.
