On the other hand, customers are not shying away from using polythene. Banning polythene now appears to have failed the administration. However, in Darbhanga on Saturday, the administration recovered 11 quintal polythene bags from the red.

Today, once again, when the Dharbhanga Municipal Corporation officials opened their eyes and went to the market committee to conduct raids on wholesale shopkeepers, bags of 11 quintals of polythene were recovered. The receipt of the challan was deducted at the shopkeepers by the Municipal Commissioner.
