At the same time, for the second phase of voting, Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai urged people to vote.

After casting his vote at polling station number 4 at St. Joseph High School in Rajendra Nagar, Patna, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said, 'I appeal to the people to get out of their homes, cast their votes, follow social distancing. keep the mask on. '

 

With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to follow the social distancing and vote. In a tweet, he wrote- 'Today, there are by-polls taking place in various places across India. I urge those voting in these seats to vote in large numbers and strengthen the festival of democracy."
