Patna: CM Nitish Kumar's party JD(U) has released its list of 115 candidates for the three-phased elections for the bihar assembly elections. JDU's Bihar unit president Vasistha Narayan Singh said that JDU will be the candidate for 122 seats in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the Bihar assembly elections. JDU will contest on 115 seats and seven seats in the Hindustan Awam Morcha (US) of ally Jitan Ram Manjhi.

JDU has also given a ticket to Manju Verma in the Bihar elections, in fact, it is manju Verma, whose name came in muzaffarpur Balika Griha Kand. At that moment Manju Verma was the minister of Social Justice in Nitish Kumar's cabinet. After the incident, JD (U) had also suspended him from the party. The party has now fielded former minister Manju Verma in the assembly constituency. The accused Verma is currently out on bail.

Let us tell you that Manju Verma's husband Chandrashekhar Verma was also named during the Muzaffarpur Balika Griha case. It may be recalled that about 34 girls were confirmed to have been raped in the Muzaffarpur Balika Griha rape case, which was a great uproar over the case.
