The Telangana state government is now focused on the upliftment of SC and ST communities in the state. It and Industry Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday announced his plans to bring a new policy to encourage industrialists from sc and st categories in the state. He directed the authorities to study such policies implemented in other states and submit a report in this regard. A meeting will be convened shortly to discuss and draft the innovative policies of the State Government for the upliftment of THE SC and ST communities.

When discussing this, Rama Rao said that the draft policies were approved by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao is placed before him. The authorities should take up awareness programmes in rural areas and educate rural youth on the current policies and schemes that will be useful to these communities," the Telangana State SC and ST Commission website was launched here. He opened the commission's renovation office with SC Development Minister Koppula Eshwar and Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavati Rathore.

However, Rama Rao, Koppala Eshwar and Satyavati Rathore praised the efforts of the Telangana State SC and ST Commission to advance the approach and support of cases related to atrocities against SC and ST communities. He praised the Commission's chairman Errola Srinivas and other staff. The commission has resolved 92 per cent of the cases received and has actively toured the districts and supported them when people need help.
