New Delhi: Fresh revelations are being made in the Hathras Gangrape case. There has been a hue and cry about the gang rape of a Dalit girl and the death thereafter. Meanwhile, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has revealed foreign funding, inciting riots in the case following investigations. Now, the UP government has been attacked by Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted in the case that it is absolutely wrong to create an environment that questions the character of the young woman and blame her for the crime she was subjected to. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra further wrote that a horrific crime took place in Hathras and the 20-year-old Dalit girl died. Her body was wrongly cremated without her family's permission. The young woman needs no such notoriety.

The Hathras issue is being taken up vigorously by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Priyanka had also accompanied her brother Rahul Gandhi to meet the family of Hathras' victim.  The UP government has claimed that there was a plan to conduct riots under the guise of the incident. A case has been filed by the UP government in which some other organisations, including the PFI, are accused of conspiracy, using foreign funding.
