Lockdown extended till September 6 in this state, corona cases crosses one lakh mark

New Delhi: Corona epidemic continues to wreak havoc across the country. The total number of corona patients in Bihar alone has exceeded one lakh. Therefore, the state government has extended the lockdown period in view of the increasing cases of corona. According to the order issued by the Nitish government, now the lockdown will continue in the state till 6 September. Earlier, the lockdown period was extended till 16 August.

It is noteworthy that more than one lakh cases of corona have been reported in Bihar, in which 461 people have lost their lives. So far, more than 72 thousand corona patients have become healthy, while the number of active cases is more than 31 thousand. The lockdown was implemented across the state in view of the increasing cases of Corona. However, further restrictions have been relaxed.

The Nitish Kumar government of Bihar has continued with many restrictions in view of the outbreak of Corona. Night curfew will remain in force from 10 to 5 in the night. Shops and markets will be allowed to operate subject to necessary restrictions according to time and rest rules. Shopping malls, religious places in the state will not open yet.
