Corona wreaks havoc in Bihar, health department releases guidelines for Holi

Patna: In view of the growing havoc of the corona epidemic in Bihar, Holi Milan celebrations will not take on public places this year. The Holi Milan festival will not be allowed by the administration. Clear instructions have been given to the district magistrate and SP of all the districts. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held at the Chief Secretary on Monday under the leadership of state Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh.

In the meeting, Chief Secretary Shri Singh directed the district magistrate and civil surgeon of all the districts not to allow Holi celebrations in public places. Principal Secretary, Department of Health, Pratyaya Amrit, in a directive to the officials of all the districts, said that the corona test of passengers coming from Maharashtra, Kerala, and Punjab should be conducted. Passengers coming from these three states should be compulsorily screened at all the airports.

The corona test of passengers coming from these states should be conducted daily information. Passengers coming to rural areas should also be motivated for a covid test. The system will be implemented from Wednesday. Pratyaya Amrit said that it has also been directed to adhere to the physical distance in public places and transport resources and to follow the instructions relating to the use of masks.
