India is struggling with the global epidemic coronavirus. The cases of infection have also increased with the arrival of migrant workers in home states. A similar case came up in Khagaria district of Bihar. The number of covid-19 infected increased from 0 to 96 within 14 days in Khagaria, 170 km east of the capital Patna.

For your information, let us tell you that two people died due to coronavirus in the district, out of which one deceased had recently returned from Delhi and had serious diseases. At the same time, the second death of a diabetic person returned from Mumbai. Apart from this, all patients have mild symptoms and need isolation and quarantine.

Apart from this, the local administration in the district has been committed to fight the coronavirus. The local administration has set up a swab collecting center in the district, a level-2 100 bed facility for cases of pneumonia symptoms and a level-1 care center of 200 single rooms in two buildings of a training institute. The same, even after having so many facilities, Khagaria is facing some challenges. In which ventilator and ICU facilities are not available. Also, there are only two private hospitals in the district. Apart from this, problems like having only 37 government doctors and having only general life support equipment in one of the 17 ambulances, despite having 135 posts, are also putting the administration in trouble.
