Patna: Recently, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party chief Upendra Kushwaha, who is seeking approval from the Bihar government for Kendriya Vidyalaya projects, on Saturday ended his fast unto death after the intervention of the grand alliance partners. At the same time, the Mahagathbandhan partners broke his fast and said that they should keep themselves alright for further major battles. The former Union minister was rushed to the hospital on Friday after deteriorating health. RJD leaders Tejashwi Yadav and Sharad Yadav and Hindustani Awam Morcha president Jeetan Ram Manjhi broke the fast of Kushwaha by drinking fruit juice.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that National General Secretary of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party Madhav Anand said that Kushwaha is suffering from diabetes. His health was severely affected. We are very relieved by breaking his fast. He will be discharged from the hospital in a day or two. Our humble message to the Nitish Kumar government is that this is only the beginning of our fight, not the end.

On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav, son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad said that Kushwaha has done his work. We want the state to have better health and education facilities, but the priority of Nitish Kumar and his government is something else. Now Kushwaha should focus on his health so that he can fight again with renewed vigor.
