Katihar: A property dispute in Katihar district turned into a bloody conflict after the defeat. Where a person was beaten to death with sticks and iron rod. After this murder, the police have accused 11 people. Out of which only one accused has been arrested by the police, the remaining ten accused are still absconding. The police is investigating them.

This incident of murder is from Pranpur police station area of Katihar. Where a property dispute has been going on for quite some time in two groups of the same society in Syranda Kajra Tola. Due to this, people from one side armed with weapons reached the house of the aunt of a person named Shamim from the other side and dragged Shamim from the house to a nearby field. Where he was beaten with sticks and iron rod. Due to which Shamim died on the spot.

Four other people, including Shamim's aunt, were also injured in this attack and assault. The deceased's brother and aunt said that the accused party was having a dispute with him over the property. Shamim was helping them in this. Meanwhile, Shamim had come to his aunt's house with his friends. Then people from the other side stormed there and dragged him from the house to the farm where he was beaten to death. Police is currently investigating the matter.
