Patna: A case of brutal murder of two sadhus has come to light in the Khirhar Heritage Nath Mahadev temple complex in the Madhubani district of Bihar. The incident took place on Tuesday at midnight. The deceased sadhus have been identified as 60-year-old Hira Das, a resident of Syriapur in Basopatti police station area, and 50-year-old Anand Mishra, a resident of Bhagwanpur. After the incident, the two bodies were kept in a house in the temple complex and covered with straw.
According to reports, the two sadhus sleeping in the temple were murdered by unidentified criminals around 12 pm on Tuesday. They dragged the body to hide it and wrapped it in a cloth in the adjoining straw house and hid their bodies in the straw and covered one head in a pit near the boundary wall next to it. Eyewitness Narayan Das, who was silently looking into the adjoining room, informed the police. The Kharghar police rushed to the spot on receiving the information. The body was traced after a lot of effort and sent to Madhani for postmortem. Police are investigating the case.
Inspector Rajesh Kumar, Khirhar Saheb Anjesh Kumar, Saharghat Saharghat Saheb Surendra Paswan, Arer Saheb Rajkishore Kumar, and other police officials were investigating the case. Anjesh Kumar said that the incident is tragic. The investigation is going on and you will be able to say something only after the inquiry.
