Patna: A number of cases have been reported from across the country, meanwhile, another case has come to light from Bihar in which vigilance has raided the house of an engineer of bihar's road construction department. In the raid, investment papers and eight bank accounts along with Rs 14 lakh, half kg gold and 1 kg silver were seized.

In a raid conducted under the supervision of Vigilance DSP SK Maur on Tuesday, the disproportionate property was recovered from the flat of Nityanand Apartment in Patna of Engineer Kontay Kumar posted in Gulzarbagh Path Construction Division. The engineer is said to have two more flats in the Krishna apartment on Boring Road. The raids were conducted under the supervision of Vigilance DSP SK Maur.

On the other hand, a case of cheating of Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son and MLA Tej Pratap Yadav from the RJD party has come to light. The fraud was committed by none other than a man working in Tej Pratap's company. It is alleged that the man fraudulently demanded 71,000 rupees in his account. A complaint has been lodged against the person by Tej Pratap Yadav at SK Puri police station and immediate action has been sought.
