Patna: A six-tonne grand lantern statue has been installed at the RJD headquarters in Bihar's capital Patna. The RJD's election symbol lantern will be inaugurated soon by RJD chief and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav. The entry of the general public into the headquarters premises has been banned before the unveiling.

The huge lantern statue is going viral on social media. According to reports, Lalu Yadav will unveil the lantern after his statement in the CBI court in the fodder scam case. According to RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari, Lalu Prasad Yadav is coming to Patna from Delhi to testify in court and has always followed the court's direction.

Lalu will stay in Patna for a day or two after appearing before the court. He said the lantern at the initiative of Tejashwi Yadav can be unveiled on the occasion. The statue of the grand lantern is fast going viral on social media and many people are liking it as well as forwarding it fast.
