Patna: Voting has started for the first phase in Bihar assembly elections today. Today, polling has started on 71 seats from 7 am. In such a situation, a total of 1066 candidates are contesting for the first phase and more than two crore voters are engaged in casting their votes. Presently, Covid-19 is in position and in view of the elections taking place in the midst of this situation, the Election Commission has issued guidelines for safe voting.
