Patna: The victim, who hails from Thana Koda area of Katihar district in Bihar, was married to Mohammed Shamim of Araria district about 7 years ago. According to media reports, it is alleged that whatever was possible the father gave as a dowry, but the in-laws started harassing the bride. As the matter progressed, the Panchayat was also seated in the year 2015. After which the in-laws agreed to keep the victim home and took her away, but after two days, the victim mysteriously disappeared.

After about 4 years, the victim reached her home in Katihar and recited the tragedy. The victim, complaining at the Kedha police station, told the media that the husband and in-laws had rendered her unconscious by giving her drugs after failing to give dowry. In a state of unconsciousness, the in-laws sold her in the Red Light area of Kanpur. Where his body was spoken everyday.

On the other hand, police officer Vikas Kumar informed the media that the prima facie case has been found correct. A case has been registered in Koda police station. Only the accused will be arrested. Along with this, the police are giving a push to the possible places to catch the accused.
