Lucknow: Two cousins riding a bike have lost their lives after being hit by a double-decker bus in the Hardoi district of UP. The accident was so dangerous that a young man lost his life on the spot after the collision. Whereas, another youth got trapped under the bus along with the bike. Then the bus dragged him and took him 100 meters ahead. By the time the driver stopped the bus, both youths had lost their lives.
Panicked, the bus driver fled from the spot. At the same time, the people nearby immediately informed the police about this. The police reached the spot, took the dead bodies of both the youths in their possession, and sent them for postmortem. Along with taking possession of the bus and bike, police started the action.
The news says that the incident also took place near Pakshi Vihar Motel on Jagdishpur-Sandi Road. Here the bike going towards Sandi collided with the double-decker bus coming from the front and got stuck in it. A young man riding on it died on the spot. Whereas, the other youth was dragged about 100 meters away with the bike stuck in the bus. By the time the bus stopped, he too lost his life.
Let us inform you that in the meantime the driver of the bus has parked the vehicle on the spot and fled from there. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Salikram and 30-year-old Rajkumar, residents of Mehandipur. Both the bike riders are cousins. Who had come to Adampur village at their aunt's place and while going back from there, they became victims of a road accident.
Hardoi's Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar has said in this regard that the bodies of both the deceased have been sent for postmortem. The investigation of the case is going on. At the same time, the absconding bus driver is also being searched.
