From Nitin Gadkari to Mamata Banerjee, Expresses grief over helicopter crash, pray for the recovery

Coonoor: An Air Force helicopter has crashed at Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. The helicopter was carrying 14 persons including CDS General Bipin Rawat. Several leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee have expressed grief over the incident and prayed for the injured.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "I am hoping that CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and others present at the chopper are safe. I pray for your recovery soon. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is also shocked by the incident. He tweeted, "Shocked to hear about the crash of a helicopter carrying CDS Bipin Rawat ji. I pray that everyone is safe.''

Mamata Banerjee tweeted, "Very sad news coming from Coonoor. Today, the entire country is praying for all those present in the helicopter including CDS Bipin Rawat and his wife. Pray that those who are injured recover quickly.''
