Hyderabad: The Animal Husbandry Department of Telangana has issued a warning to all district collectors and veterinarians to keep a watch on poultry. The department collected 1,256 samples from poultry farms across the state and sent them to the Telangana State Veterinary Biological Research Institute for bird flu testing.
Animal Husbandry Director Vangala Lakshmareddy said, "So far, we have not detected any cases in Telangana, but as a precautionary measure, we are collecting bird serum samples from all poultry in the state. “So far there has been no death of birds by migrants in the state.

"Due to the scientific approach in poultry, the chances of bird flu in the state are almost slim. Most of the poultry owners not only adopt the best practices but also keep 16 types of vaccines in the fields to protect the birds from diseases," Lakshmareddy said. There are.
