New Delhi: The risk of coronavirus is not yet completely ended and now bird flu has started to gain its momentum. Cases of bird flu have been registered in 9 states of the country one by one. Now, Delhi and Maharashtra have also joined the list of bird flu states. Bird flu had already accumulated its feet in Up Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Kerala. PM Modi has also expressed concern over the disease.

The country's capital, Delhi, has been stirred up by the confirmation of bird flu. The animal husbandry department has confirmed bird flu in Delhi. 8 samples sent to the laboratory have been positive. Now, from the zoo to parks and poultry farms, a close watch is being kept. So far 27 ducks, 91 crows have lost their lives in Delhi. 27 ducks have been found dead in Sanjay Lake.  Sanjay Lake has since been closed to the people. The ducks found dead in Sanjay Lake have been buried in deep pits in Sanjay Lake by a team of animal husbandry department. Bird flu was also found positive in samples of the dead crow after ducks in Delhi. Bird flu has been confirmed in a sample of 2 crows at DDA Park in Dwarka Sector 9, Delhi. In view of bird flu, several guidelines have been issued by the Kejriwal government.

Maharashtra CM held a meeting on the rising bird flu cases, where several guidelines have been issued. Has sought information on the death of birds in different areas. In Parbhani, 1800 culling decrees have been pronounced after the flu was confirmed in the chickens.
