Nongthombam Biren Singh who swears in oath as the Chief Minister of Manipur today will face the floor test in the Manipur Assembly. On 16 March he took the oath.
In the ministry, only two BJP MLAs are included while other are of the other parties who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In the recently announced result of Manipur Assembly elections, the BJP formed a government with the 21 seats along with the support of other parties MLAs who joined the saffron party.
