Some BJP members including Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Prakash Javadekar objected to this but the noise of opposition members continued. Chairman Naidu appealed to the committing members to calm down and allow the House to function. Seeing that his appeal had no effect, he postponed the meeting till about 2 o'clock at 1100 till two in the afternoon.
